Privacy Policy
Nodiumtech LLC (“Nodiumtech”, “we”, “us”) is a business-to-business software company based in Houston, Texas. We build warehouse management and marketplace integration software (“Nodium WMS”) used by third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and e-commerce sellers. This policy explains what personal data we handle, why, for how long, and how to contact us about it.
1. The two roles we play
It matters who the data belongs to:
- For our own business (as a controller): when you email us, request a demo, or use this website, we handle your business contact details for ourselves.
- For our customers (as a processor/service provider): when a warehouse or seller runs Nodium WMS, order and shipment data — including buyer names and ship-to addresses — is processed inside their deployment on their instructions. That data belongs to our customer (and, for marketplace orders, is also governed by the marketplace’s policies). We process it only to provide the software and services.
2. Data we collect
- Contact and inquiry data: name, business email address, company name, and the content of your messages when you contact us.
- Operational data processed for customers: product catalogs, inventory records, orders, shipments, invoices, and — where fulfillment requires it — buyer ship-to details (name, shipping address, and where provided by the sales channel, phone or email for delivery purposes).
- Technical logs: standard web-server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) kept for security and troubleshooting.
This website does not use analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or third-party embedded content.
3. Purpose limitation
We use personal data only to: provide, secure, and support the software and services; fulfill and document orders on behalf of our customers; respond to inquiries; meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not use buyer data processed for our customers for our own marketing, profiling, or product analytics beyond aggregate, de-identified operational metrics.
4. Retention
- Marketplace-sourced buyer personal data: retained only as long as fulfillment and returns handling require; purged no later than 30 days after confirmed delivery, except where a longer period is required by law (for example, tax or customs records) or by the customer’s documented instructions consistent with the marketplace’s policies.
- Business contact data: kept while we have an active relationship or ongoing correspondence, then deleted or archived per legal requirements.
- Technical logs: kept for a short rolling window for security purposes.
5. No sale of personal data
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share personal data with third parties for advertising or cross-context behavioral purposes. Period.
6. Subprocessors and disclosure
We use a small set of infrastructure providers (server hosting, backup storage, and — where a customer enables it — shipping-label and payment providers acting on that customer’s behalf). We disclose personal data only: to such providers as needed to run the service; when a customer instructs us to; or when the law requires it. A current subprocessor list is available on request at admin@nodiumtech.com.
7. Security
Customer deployments are single-tenant. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, including encrypted offsite backups. Access to buyer personal data is role-based and limited to what warehouse work requires; two-factor authentication is available for operator accounts. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we design for containment: minimal data, minimal access, minimal retention.
8. Your rights and requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data. If your data reached us through one of our customers (for example, you bought from a seller whose warehouse runs Nodium WMS), we will refer your request to that customer and support them in honoring it. Either way, write to admin@nodiumtech.com and we will respond within a reasonable time, and within any period required by applicable law.
9. Children
Our website and services are directed at businesses and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated date. Material changes affecting how we process customer data will be communicated to affected customers directly.
